Advertise your products on Amazon

Our advertising solutions let you reach and engage shoppers at every stage of their journey—from awareness to purchase and beyond. Ads appear right where shoppers will see them, such as the first page of search results or product detail pages. You place bids on keywords or products, and if your ad is relevant and your bid wins, your ad gets displayed to shoppers.

We have three advertising solutions. Take advantage of them all to help maximize your performance.*

Sponsored Products
Sponsored Products are ads for individual product listings on Amazon. They appear in shopping results and on product detail pages, helping drive sales and product visibility.

Sponsored Brands
Sponsored Brands showcase your brand and product portfolio. Featuring your brand logo, a custom headline, and up to 3 of your products, these ads appear in shopping results.

Stores are custom multipage shopping destinations that let you showcase your brand story and product offerings. They require no website experience to use.
Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands are cost-per-click ads, so you only pay when your ad receives clicks. Stores can be used at no additional cost.**
*Subject to eligibility requirements. Products and features may not be available in all marketplaces.
**Create a Store at no additional cost for sellers already selling on Amazon in the marketplace where they wish to advertise. Otherwise, selling fees apply.

How advertising on Amazon works

1. Create a campaign
To create a Sponsored Products campaign, pick the products you want to advertise and choose your budget and campaign duration. We recommend a daily budget of SAR 40 and running your campaign without an end date, so shoppers can discover your products any time they shop on Amazon.

Then, choose between automatic or manual targeting to be able to bid on keywords. Automatic targeting is the easiest way to get started.

For Sponsored Brands, choose three products you want to advertise. Then add your logo and a custom headline, and decide which keywords to target and how much you want to bid for clicks. Choose where you want to drive traffic: your Store or a product list page featuring a selection of your products. Preview your ad and landing page and submit your ad for review and approval. Ad moderation can take up to 72 hours. Review Amazon’s creative acceptance policies for more information.

For Stores, use our prebuilt templates, drag-and-drop tiles, and dynamic widgets to create your customized Store. No website experience is needed.

2. Shoppers see your ad
Sponsored Products launch immediately, while Sponsored Brands and Stores undergo a moderation review. Based on relevance and bid, ads are shown to shoppers.

When shoppers click on products featured in your ads, they’re taken to your product detail page. When they click on your logo or byline in your Sponsored Brands ad, they’re taken to your Store or product list page.

3. Measure success
Use your reports to see how your campaigns perform, such as your return on ad spend, and view your Stores insights dashboard for details on engagement, sales, and more. These insights can help you measure performance and optimize your campaigns.

You must have an active professional seller account. To use Sponsored Brands and Stores, you must be enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry.
Featured Offer
The products you advertise with Sponsored Products must be eligible to be the featured offer.* Sponsored Brands will be shown to shoppers regardless of which brand is the featured offer.
* If you create an ad for a product listing that is not eligible to be the featured offer, your ad will not display to Amazon shoppers. Ads that are not eligible are flagged in the campaign manager under the advertising tab in Seller Central.
At this time, we do not support adult products, used products, refurbished products, and products in closed categories.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Sponsored Products?
Sponsored Products are keyword-targeted ads that promote your individual listings and appear in shopping results and on product detail pages on Amazon. You select your products to advertise and choose your keywords or use automatic targeting instead. Control how much you want to spend on your bids and budgets, and measure your ads' performance with campaign reports.
Is this product the same as the Sponsored Products that was offered by Souq?
No, Amazon Advertising's Sponsored Products is a different product that was developed separately.
How does Amazon's Sponsored Products differ from Souq's Sponsored Products?
If you previously advertised with Souq's product, here is what you should know about the way that Amazon Advertising's Sponsored Products operates:

• Sponsored Products ads appear only on Amazon and not on any third-party sites.
• Both sellers and vendors on Amazon can use Sponsored Products.
• Advertisers are charged on a cost-per-click basis, with no additional fees
• Advertisers pay for clicks either by credit card or deduction from their seller or vendor account balance.
• Sponsored Products advertisers can choose which products to advertise, which keywords to target, and what to bid for a click.
• Once a Sponsored Products campaign is launched, the ads are eligible to serve immediately.
Why should I use Sponsored Products?
Sponsored Products can help you increase visibility and sales of your products by displaying ads when shoppers are looking for products like yours. There are no monthly fees; you pay only when shoppers click your ad.

Consider using Sponsored Products for product visibility, new offers, unique selections, offers with low glance views, clearance items, and seasonal promotions.
Why should I use Sponsored Brands?
Sponsored Brands help boost visibility and sales for your brand and product portfolio by appearing in high-visibility locations within shopping results.
What is a keyword?
A single word or combination of words that are matched to search terms that shoppers use to look for products on Amazon. Adding keywords to your keyword targeting campaigns helps determine when your ads may appear.
What products are not eligible for advertising?
At this time we do not support adult products, used products, refurbished products, and products in closed categories.

How much does it cost to advertise?
Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands are cost-per-click ads, meaning you pay only when your ad is clicked. You choose your own budget and how much you want to spend for a click, which you can update at any time.
How do I pay for my ads?
When you advertise, Amazon charges for the number of clicks you receive on your ads. Your seller invoice will indicate that charges are for the cost of advertising under Selling Fees. By default, your advertising fees are deducted from your selling account balance. The total advertising fee is deducted from your seller account during an invoice period. If your seller account doesn’t have enough funds to cover the cost of advertising, the remaining balance will be charged to the credit card you used to register for Selling on Amazon. If we can’t charge your credit card after multiple attempts, your advertising account will be placed into payment failure.

You do have the option to switch your payment method to deduct from a credit card. Each time your credit card is charged, you receive an invoice. The invoice date is your monthly invoice date, or the date when your credit level changes. See more information on billing here.
How does the daily budget work?
You set a maximum daily amount that you are willing to spend on your ads. For Sponsored Products, the amount you enter is the average daily amount you are willing to spend over a calendar month. For example, if you set your daily budget at SAR 100, you may receive up to SAR 3,100 worth of clicks in that calendar month (assuming a full 31-day month). For Sponsored Brands, the amount you enter is the maximum daily amount you are willing to spend for each day and does not roll over to the next day.

The minimum daily budget is SAR 1.00, but we recommend a minimum of SAR 40 to ensure your campaigns don't stop showing in the middle of the day.
